Volunteer Information

Thank you for volunteering to help with Tiger Treasures! Please register by filling out the online form, or by contacting Janet Kimmons , Salvation Army Volunteer Coordinator, at 573-442-3229 ext. 24, or by e-mail.

Information on the types of volunteer jobs and dates needed is provided below. When you register, please select the type of job you want to do and when you want to work. You will receive a T-shirt that identifies you as a Tiger Treasures volunteer.

Volunteer Orientation — Tiger Treasures Rummage Sale, May 30-31, 2008

  • Cashiers will be trained on May 30, 2008. Call Steve Burdic at 573-882-7287 or 573-239-7434 for that afternoon's training schedule.
  • Steve Burdic will give an orientation to the rummage sale's first shift at 5:45 a.m., May 31 in the volunteer area.
  • Sign in at the volunteer station at Gate E2, get a name tag and wear it on your Tiger Treasures T-shirt.
  • Walk to your station at least 10 minutes prior to your shift start time.
  • Please stay for your entire shift. Be prepared to train your replacement, who will come to your station about 10 minutes before your shift ends.
  • Shifts are generally three hours long.
  • Volunteeers can work as many shifts as they want.
  • Volunteers can switch jobs or do two jobs consecutively if needed.
  • Restrooms are located next to Gate E2.
  • Water and lemondade are available in the volunteer station.
  • Please wait until a break to shop.
