Tiger Treasures Rummage Sale Debuts June 2
Posted: June 1, 2007The concourse under Memorial Stadium's east-side stands is filled and MU is ready to hold the lagest rummage sale in the state.
More than 15 tons of gently used merchandise was diverted from the landfill and donated by departing students for MU's first Tiger Treasures Rummage Sale. The sale will open at 6 a.m. for early-bird shoppers who will pay a $5 fee. The sale will open to the public from 7 a.m. to noon with free admission. All proceeds from the sale and admission fees benefit the Salvation Army.
Merchandise available includes jeans, T-shirts, shoes, refrigerators, microwaves, carpets, toys, books, lamps and furniture.
