Campus snow-removal priorities
Posted: December 5, 2006With tons of snow and ice to remove after the recent winter storm, Campus Facilities personnel have been working hard to make the campus safe for drivers and pedestrians. All areas of campus are important and will be cleaned as quickly as possible, but some areas have a higher priority than others. If you are wondering why some areas are cleared before others, here is a list of MU campus snow-removal priorities:
- University Hospital & Clinics drives and roadways
- Campus building entrances and steps
- Disabled parking areas and shuttle-bus shelters in parking lots SG4, AV14 and RP10
- Sidewalks
- Delivery and unloading zones; driveways through University Village, Terrace and Heights; and residence hall circle drives
- University-owned thoroughfare, as conditions require
- Parking lots
