About
The Facilities and Asset Mapping Section (FAMS) of Space Planning and Management is dedicated to providing geospatial data for the university community. Our GIS is focused on facility mapping, which includes buildings, infrastructure, and utility data. We are responsible for collecting and maintaining data for all of MU’s agricultural research stations and other sites throughout the state of Missouri, in addition to the main campus.
If you’ve ever seen the Kiosk Maps scattered around campus, then you are familiar with our work. Our maps also appear in the Tiger Guide and in the Campus Directory. We are pleased to serve the university community by providing mapping services free of charge. We can create customized maps for various events and projects. Feel free to
contact our GIS Specialist for more information.
