The Steam Tunnel Upgrade project is progressing in phases south to Conley Avenue.
Steam Tunnel Upgrade Project
September 2009**UPDATE** As part of an ongoing effort to upgrade campus utilities:
- Fifth Street north of Stewart Road will close at 7 a.m., Monday, Sept. 14. The west sidewalk in front of the power plant will be closed, but the east sidewalk will remain open.
- Sixth Street south of Stewart Road to Conley Avenue remains closed.
- For a map of this area go to http://umcspace.missouri.edu/Projects/?rc=641 These sections are scheduled to reopen on Feb. 1, 2010.

Additional Road Closings
Other construction projects may close some campus roads and drives occasionally; check this page often for updates as work progresses.
Stadium Boulevard
**IN PROGRESS** The Missouri Department of Transportation is working at night to repair and resurface Stadium Boulevard from Highway 63 to Broadway. One lane in each direction will always remain open. Stadium from College Avenue to Providence Road is scheduled for completion by the first home football game, Sept. 12. The entire project is scheduled for completion Oct. 5.
