Consultant Marketing Visit (CMV)
Is your firm interested in the possibility of providing professional services for the University? A Consultant Marketing Visit is a visit to MU Project Management to tell us about your firm and your areas of expertise. MU Project Management manages projects that may need expertise in the following areas: Hospital, Laboratories, General Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering, Civil Engineering, Power Plants, Electric and Steam Distribution. These visits are 30 minutes in length and are scheduled monthly. To schedule a visit, contact us at (573) 882-2228 or complete the CMV Form and e-mail it to us at umccfpdcoffice@missouri.edu, fax it to us at 573-882-5872, or mail it to us at MU Project Management University of Missouri – Columbia E111 General Services Building Columbia, MO 65211.
You will be asked to send a brochure from your firm to share with the project managers. After we have reviewed the brochure, we will contact you to confirm a time for a CMV. No visits are scheduled during the summer due to scheduling difficulties of all parties.
Consultants for University of Missouri projects are selected based on experience with similar projects and professional qualifications. Consultants must be licensed to practice in Missouri. Visits are generally limited to firms with offices in Missouri or at metropolitan areas of the major cities. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to schedule visits.
