Maintenance
Facility Operations – Maintenance provides timely and cost-effective repair services for over 6.5 million square feet of Education and General (E&G) classroom, laboratory and office space, valued at approximately one billion dollars.
The Capital Repair Program identifies and prioritizes major facility repair needs, and initiates projects to complete necessary repairs. Zone Maintenance Teams and Skilled Trade Operations provide daily operating, maintenance and repair services.
Other Services
- Sign Shop
- Campus Facilities' Sign Shop creates signs, logos, decals, MU mascot materials and other detail work for campus facilities and grounds.
- Key Shop
- Campus Facilities' Key Shop provides keys and electronic card access for campus buildings. Building coordinators approve building key requests and card access. If you need a building key, contact your Building Coordinator.
- Specialized Equipment Repair (recharge)
- Maintenance of specialized equipment (autoclaves, growth chambers, refrigerators, digesters, greenhouses, etc.) is the responsibility of campus departments. Repair service for this equipment is available on a recharge basis through FO – Maintenance department.
