Mizzou Botanic Garden: Stephens Pond site improvements

Image: Stephens Pond, at the corner of College and University avenues

Stephens Pond is located between Stephens Hall and Lefevre Hall, at the corner of College and University avenues.

Featuring a rock-lined pond with three waterfalls, the Stephens Pond area serves as an attractive northeast gateway to the MU campus. Proposed improvements to the area include restoring the pond's original depth by removing accumulated organic matter; planting a collection of native Missouri plants; and installing a recirculating water pump and piping for the waterfalls' flow.
