A comparison: The old greenhouse complex, consisting of seven buildings built between 1910 and 1940, were the "birthplace" of several genetic innovations, including the Missouri tomato. The new White Campus Greenhouse will include growth chambers; a facility for long-term (20 years) seed storage and drying; corn sorting; potting and soil preparation areas.
