Energy Management
Campus Facilities – Energy Management’s mission is to provide reliable and cost-effective energy services to the MU campus to support its mission of teaching, research, outreach and economic development. Our system provides utility service to over 13 million square feet of facilities, which include three hospitals, a research reactor, numerous research facilities and laboratories, academic buildings, residential halls, dining facilities, athletic facilities, computing centers and administrative buildings.

The MU campus uses daily 567,000 kwh of electricity, 3.8 million pounds of steam, 2.2 million gallons of water and 89,800 ton-hours of chilled water for the MU campus.
